One roof over several workshops.
Karuki Group holds together what would otherwise run side by side: commissioned work, operations, our own products and the groundwork behind them. Each unit has its own audience — which is why each carries its own name.
The units

Someone who wants a site built, someone who wants to hand over a running application and someone facing a purchase decision are looking for different things. A single name would have to answer all three at once and would reach none of them.
With darue a second reason applies: advice that looks like the department of a software house is worth nothing as a recommendation. Hence its own brand, its own address — and the affiliation disclosed rather than hidden.
Staubenthal Labs has an address of its own for a different reason: what happens there is apps, software and agents that take work off people’s hands on their own. That is a different conversation from the one about a website — and it has its own readers.

Where our things run
Sites and applications sit on our own server in a German data centre that we operate ourselves — not on somebody else’s platform. That is not a stance but the reason we do not have to wait for a status page when something breaks.
