KarukiGroup

Something finished will do.

Not every task needs a project. These are the products from the group — built at Staubenthal Labs, for ourselves first, which is why they hold up for other people too.

What there is

What is in the works

Four projects you cannot buy. Three are meant to become products one day, and their names are provisional. KlarBuchhaltung we build for our own books — it is here because it shows what we hold ourselves to.

KlarBuchhaltungin progressOur own bookkeeping: cash-basis accounting and double-entry in one application, the books kept apart for each legal entity, documents stored so they cannot be altered. An internal tool, not a product for sale.buchhaltung.karuki.de

  • We collect the information on hotels and destinations ourselves instead of taking it from the accommodation.
  • The ratings come from people who are affected. Whether a door is wide enough is known by someone who has to get through it — not by reception, and not by a checklist.
  • Independent of booking platforms. Whoever earns on the booking has no interest in a rating that puts people off it.

Why we build products at all

Because the same questions keep coming back. Anyone who has explained often enough why a weather forecast is not as certain as it looks ends up building something that shows it by itself.

The side effect is the real value: on your own product you notice first when something is broken — not at a client.
